Getting know more
International Learning Environment
FIT IUP offers students the opportunity to learn directly from international academics and global industry perspectives. Through visiting professors and globally benchmarked case studies, students gain exposure to international best practices, emerging technologies, and real-world challenges faced by global industries.
Multicultural classrooms
Students learn in diverse classrooms alongside peers from different countries and cultural backgrounds. This experience encourages openness, cross-cultural understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively in international and multicultural professional environments.
English-Taught Lectures and Academic Discussions
All lectures, assignments, and academic interactions are conducted in English. This strengthens students’ academic communication skills and prepares them for international study, professional certification, and global career opportunities.
What Are Visiting International Professors?
Visiting international professors are faculty members from partner universities abroad who are invited to teach selected courses, deliver guest lectures, supervise projects, and share research insights. Their involvement enriches the curriculum with international academic standards and global perspectives.
Learning from Global Case Studies
Global case studies are integrated into coursework to allow students to analyze real industrial, technological, environmental, and business challenges faced by multinational companies and international organizations.
“Studying abroad gave me a new perspective on how engineering is practiced globally.”
During my exchange at the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at Illinois Institute of Technology, I had the opportunity to learn in a truly global academic environment. I worked closely with fellow chemical engineering students from various countries, collaborating on laboratory work and class projects while sharing different perspectives shaped by our academic and cultural backgrounds. One of the most memorable experiences for me was presenting our lab work on convective mass transfer and discussing engineering solutions together in class.
Beyond academics, this exchange experience helped me grow both personally and professionally. It improved my confidence in communicating ideas in an international setting, strengthened my problem-solving skills, and gave me a clearer picture of how chemical engineering is applied globally. Overall, this journey motivated me to continue exploring international academic and professional opportunities in the future.

Collaborative International Learning Activities
FIT IUP provides students with structured opportunities to engage in collaborative international learning experiences. These activities allow students to work directly with overseas partners, preparing them for global teamwork, cross-cultural communication, and professional collaboration.
“Working with international teammates taught me how to communicate, collaborate, and adapt in a global environment.”
I participated in a joint project with students from overseas partner universities. We worked in multicultural teams to solve real design and innovation problems, presented our solutions to international lecturers, and learned to manage differences in time zones and cultures.
This experience strengthened my teamwork, adaptability, and professional confidence, preparing me for future international internships and global careers.
